September is National Hispanic Heritage Month honoring the achievements, contributions, and cultural celebrations of Latino/ and Hispanic Americans. This year’s theme is Unidos: Inclusivity for a Stronger Nation.
While our individual roles here at MedSource Labs may differ, we’re all one team. We feel fortunate to have tremendous diversity within our company and are proud of the many contributions of our Hispanic team members.
This month we are featuring Kitting Team Lead, Leyla Mendez!
Leyla started at MedSource Labs a temp five years ago, helping with various projects from assembling IV Start Kits in the Kitting Department, to processing orders in the Warehouse. Her unselfishness and dedication to the whole Kitting team truly enhances Lelya’s dedication and is a large part of what makes her so valuable to the MedSource Labs team.

What do you do in your spare time?
I enjoy watching my three sons play soccer. I also love cooking, walking and biking with my family.
What is one thing on your bucket list?
Travel to Italy

What does Hispanic Heritage Month mean to you?
Hispanic Heritage is a time to reflect on where you come from, your ancestors and traditions.
Does your family have any traditions that are especially important to you?
We celebrate our heritage in our family gatherings. We like to cook carne asada and listen to music.
